One of the hottest imports out of Korea's thriving K-Pop genre is BTS won the  Billboard Music Award's Top Social Artist Award this past weekend.

BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a seven-member Korean-pop group which formed in 2013. They made their national television debut at last year's Billboard Music Awards.

The BBMA's Social Award is "a ranking of the most active artists on the world's leading social networking sites. Artists' popularity is determined by a formula blending their weekly additions of friends/fans/followers along with artist page views and weekly song plays, as measured by Next Big Sound."

BTS beat out Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Sean Mendes,  some of the world's biggest superstars for the award.

The legion of screaming fans weren't the only ones showing their support for the group. The Backstreet Boys, Shawn Mendes, Khalid, & Zedd are just some of the few U.S artists that have voiced their wishes to work with BTS.

Pictures coming out of the BBMAS also have fans speculating other their next collaborations.
